We're glad you asked! Our initial 30-minute interviews usually consist of 3 parts:
We introduce Ternoa and the role
We ask you some questions about your professional background, strengths, availability, etc.
You ask us any questions you might have
It's pretty standard stuff!
We recommend you spend time on our company website and our social media accounts to get an idea of what we're working on.
And of course, be ready to clearly explain what you can contribute to the role and to Ternoa in general.
We interview tons of candidates for many different roles. And we're looking for people that stand out.
That being said, please relax and be yourself. We're all just human after all!
It depends on the role and we specify exact requirements in each job description.
Of course, any experience with blockchain technology is helpful. But it isn't always a requirement to join our team!
Think of your application as a sales pitch. Highlight the value you can bring to the role and the company at large. Ask yourself:
How do you fit in with our culture and values?
What excites you the most about our mission?
How does your background align with our current needs? Give us a few specific examples.
How can you communicate all of the above in a brief but memorable way? Can you use humor, storytelling, anecdotes, or something else to grab our attention?
Your application is the first impression we'll have of you. Make it count!
Most of our team is based in Europe but we have teammates in Asia, Africa, and North America, too.
Our preference is usually for people working in GMT to GMT+5 timezones.
We receive a lot of really qualified applications and the competition can be tough.
So even though you might have all the skills we're looking for, it could just be that we proceeded with another equally qualified candidate.
